Q 1 : What is Computer Based Test (CBT)?

The examination of JEE (Advanced) & JEE (Main) are conducted Online and this process is called Computer Based Test (CBT), which is done on a computer at an approved testing center. ALLEN has introduced Computer Based Test (CBT) Series to give the actual environment to aspirants.

It is advisable to complete your payment process before 7 days of every CBT exam so that you can appear in the exam without any hurdle. Students enrolled at least 7 days before the scheduled CBT exam will be eligible to appear for the CBT, subject to CBT city availability. Students enrolled within 6 days of the scheduled CBT exam will be eligible for Re-attempt (Practice Test) / Online CBT on the ALLEN App & Web.
Note: In case of Offline payment, the DD/Challan must reach us before 10 days of the exam date.

All India Rank Wise result will be declared after 7 to 8 days from the exam date.

No, those students who have already purchased DLP Offline Leader/Nurture Test Series need not to purchase exclusive CBT. The Test Series for JEE (MAIN) & JEE (MAIN + ADVANCED) includes the benefit of Computer Based Test mode along with pen-paper mode to give the actual simulation of the exam

Yes, you will get the previous CBT's as Online CBT Practice Test

  1. Under any unforeseen circumstances, if it is not possible to conduct a test in CBT mode at center then the test will be available in ONLINE CBT mode (attempt test paper from home in online mode) as per the schedule.
  2. If the number of students are less /minimum at the CBT Center or due to the non-availability of computer labs; the test will be available in ONLINE CBT mode (attempt test paper from home in online mode) as per the schedule.

It is only available to students who have purchased a CBT package and were Absent/late to register for the Test. Eligible students can avail the Test and will get the All India Predicted Rank (PR) among the pool of students after the declaration of AIR for the particular test.
Note: Students who have opted test center city as POSTAL CBT, will also get the opportunity to avail Online CBT Practice Tests and will also get the All India Predicted Rank (PR) among the pool of students after the declaration of AIR for the particular test.

Test Centre Address will be mentioned on admit card which can be downloaded from your student login page, 2 days before the CBT date.

2. One Govt. approved ID card

No, after filling the form opted language cannot be changed. But in the case of Computer Based Test (CBT) at the time of attempting the test questions can be translated.

Yes, JEE Main & JEE (Main + Advanced) candidate will get 4 A4 size sheets for rough work.

Yes, after the exam date the answer key and question paper will be available

No, Students are advised to read all the instructions carefully before attempting the test.

Computer Based Test (CBT) offers you the actual feel of the exam where the student will appear at an allotted Test center.

Yes, Computer Based Test (CBT) Test Centre and DLP Offline Centre address would be different.

The re-conduction of the exam is not possible at the test center. But, yes you will get the same paper as Online CBT practice test

It is an Online Practice Test which provides all the features of a Computer Based Test. It requires a desktop/laptop/mobile and a good internet connection to appear in the test.

For nurture course the validity of Online CBT Practice test remains till the end of 1st year only and in 2nd year the student will be promoted to Leader course.
