FAQ’s for ALLEN JEE ADVANCED CBT, 2018

Q.1 What is Computer Based Test (CBT)?

Ans.

The examination of JEE ADVANCED is conducted online and this process is called CBT (Computer Based Test), which is done on a computer at an approved testing center. ALLEN conducts a Computer Based Test (CBT) for JEE ADVANCED aspirants on the lines of the JEE ADVANCED CBT examination to prepare them at their best for the actual examination.

Q.2 What will be the test date and time of ALLEN JEE ADVANCED CBT 2018?

Ans.

The examination consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each of three hours duration and will be held as per the following schedule:
Test Dates: 25th April, 2nd May, 6th May and 09th May 2018

Test Time: Test will be conducted in two Sessions
Paper 1:  9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Paper 2:  2:00 PM to 05:00 PM

Q.3 When the registrations will close for ALLEN’s JEE ADVANCED CBT 2018?

Ans.

Registrations are available on First Come First Serve Basis. Hence, as and when the center capacity is exhausted, registrations will close.

Q.4 When can I deposit the Fee?

Ans. We will start accepting payments from 8th April, 2018 starting 5 PM onwards.

Q.5 Can I change the option of language once the form is submitted?

Ans. No.

Q.6 When will the result of CBT declare?

Ans. Result will be declared within 4 to 5 days of test attempt date.

Q.7 How will candidate know the result of the CBT JEE ADVANCED 2018?

Ans. All India Rank wise Result with detailed marks will be available on dlp.allen.ac.in

Q.8 How to know the test center of ALLEN’s JEE ADVANCED CBT?

Ans. Test center address will be given on Admit Card.

Q.9 What document do I need to bring with me on the test day?

Ans. Admit Card of CBT 2018 and a Govt. Approved Identity Card (ALLEN Identity card, in case of existing Allen Student).

Q.10 Do we get rough sheet during test?

Ans. Yes

Q.11 . Can I translate questions (Only Hindi or English) at the time of attempting test on the portal?

Ans. Yes

Q.12 Will you provide Answer Key & Solutions?

Ans. Yes, we will provide the Answer Key.

Q.13 Will I get question paper & answer key on my email id?

Ans. Yes, we will send question paper & answer key to every paid registered student on their Registered Email id.

Q.14 When will I get my admit card?

Ans. Admit Card will be available before 2 days of test date.

Q.15 Will you provide result analysis & AIR?

Ans. Yes, we will provide AIR with score card.

Q.16 I have finished / submitted the paper instead of Next Button, Can I get the re-login option?.

Ans. No, Students are advised to read all the instructions carefully before the test.

Q.17 Unable to upload photo & signature, can I appear in the test using Fee Receipt?

Ans. No, without admit card student will not be allowed to appear in the test and for any assistance contact on our helpline Number: 0744-2750275.

Q.18 Is the CBT admit card valid for all test dates?

Ans. No, the student will have to download 4 different Admit Cards for different dates.

Q.19 What would be the test pattern for CBT test?

Ans. CBT test will be as per JEE ADVANCED pattern.

Q.20 What is the difference between Online Test Series and CBT Test?

Ans.  CBT offers you actual feel of the JEE ADVANCED exam where student will appear on allotted center.

Q.21 Is it possible to change the exam date, in case I miss it due to some emergency?

Ans. No, once conducted the re-conduction is not possible.
